At Level Up Collective, we see every donation, every volunteer hour, every partnership as more than a contribution; it’s a hand extended in partnership to young lives in the making.
When Stability Is Fragile
In the 2023–24 school year, Texas public schools reported 125,231 records of students experiencing homelessness, and 12.8% of those were unaccompanied youth with no caregiver or parental support (Texas Education Agency, TEHCY 2024).
Imagine walking into your day unsure of where you'll sleep tonight or whether you'll have a quiet place to study. That’s the reality for many young people. The emotional toll is immense: housing instability in adolescence is strongly linked to higher risks of anxiety, depression, and long-term instability (Arxiv study, 2024).
Your support doesn’t just provide resources, it provides stability, consistency, and the confidence that someone cares to show up every day.
Bridging the Gap for Disconnected Youth
Around 13.1% of Texans aged 16–24 are neither enrolled in school nor employed (Children at Risk, 2024 Briefing). Nationally, the “youth disconnection rate”: teens and young adults who are neither working nor in school, was 10.9% in 2022 (Measure of America, 2024).
This isn’t just a statistic; it’s lives paused. A youth who is disconnected today is less likely to graduate, more likely to struggle with employment and income, and more vulnerable to long-term instability (SSRC, 2024). When you give, you help reduce that gap. You help put someone back on track. You build pathways that lead to opportunity, not dead ends.
What Co-Building Futures Looks Like
A teen borrows a professional outfit for an interview from our Clothing Closet: that confidence shows in their voice.
A young adult connects with a mentor who’s walked similar paths and helps them map out next steps.
A sponsor funds a life-skills workshop, giving dozens of youth tools to manage money, relationships, or job search routines.
A community event brings neighbors together, builds trust, and reminds youth they belong even before programs begin.
You’re not a donor, volunteer, sponsor in a distant role; you’re a teammate, a builder, a memory maker.
Join the Build
If you’re a young person between 5 and 25, come join our programs. We believe in your story!
If you’re a mentor, volunteer, or sponsor, step into the lives of rising generations.
If you’re a partner organization or business, let’s collaborate to broaden reach, not duplicate effort.
Because when you stand with Level Up, you’re not just giving, you’re co-building futures.
